Project Overview
Ruitong (Ma'anshan) Die-Casting Co., Ltd. is the second-phase expansion project of Chongqing Ruitong Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Ruitong Precision”). Ruitong Precision was established in June 2004 and is headquartered in Bishan High-tech Zone, Chongqing. The phase-II project has a total investment of RMB 2 billion, covers approximately 180.94 mu, and will construct new factory buildings, office buildings, an R&D building and dormitories, with a total floor area of approximately 80,347.96 m². The project plans to install 45 die-casting machines in the 650–6600 ton range, and will be supported by about 1,200 CNC machining centers and other machining equipment. Once at full capacity, the project will achieve an annual production capacity of 60,000 tonnes of new-energy-vehicle components.
Yangguang Electric was invited to participate in Phase II to manufacture and supply the busduct system and related services, taking responsibility for the design, manufacture, factory testing, accessories and on-site support for the main and branch power distribution.
Scope of Yangguang Electric’s Services and Work
System design: Based on the workshop power layout, equipment distribution and grid connection mode, develop the busduct main/branch topology, cross-section selection, grounding scheme and tap-box layout, and reserve provisions for future expansion and maintenance access.
Custom manufacturing: Manufacture busduct sections, tap boxes, busbar connectors and insulation/protection structures according to drawings and site conditions, with factory production and strict process control.
Factory testing: Perform dielectric (withstand) tests, insulation resistance tests, temperature-rise tests and short-circuit capability verifications; all factory tests are documented and meet industry standards and owner requirements.
Packaging, transportation and onsite coordination: Ship in stages according to construction schedule, provide installation plans and construction guidance, and assist with the installation and commissioning of critical nodes.
After-sales and operation & maintenance support: Deliver a busduct inspection manual, installation and acceptance checklist, and routine maintenance recommendations after handover; provide training and fault-response services.
Technical Highlights and Solutions
Modular design for easy expansion and maintenance: Main and branch sections adopt standardized plug-in and tap-box designs so branches can be quickly added or modules replaced on site, minimizing production downtime.
Enhanced thermal management and contact reliability: To address the inrush and start-up shocks of die-casting machines and CNC units, optimize busbar cross-sections and cooling structures; key connections use anti-loosen measures and enlarged contact surfaces to reduce contact resistance and local heating risks.
High-reliability insulation and protection: Use high-temperature-resistant and aging-resistant insulating materials and sealed structures to suit workshop dust and localized humid conditions.
Comprehensive factory inspection regime: All busduct sections complete temperature-rise, dielectric and insulation tests before leaving the factory, ensuring they can be commissioned on site per design and shortening acceptance time.
Installation coordination and quality control: Provide detailed installation procedures including torque values and contact surface treatment specifications, and offer on-site guidance for critical joints to ensure joint quality and long-term stable operation.
